SmartEquip is right in the middle of building business processes and culture that improves communication, teamwork and performance. That means that there are still going to be some rough edges for a while. But it also means that employees have a voice and an active part in making important changes and definitely have the attention of senior management. This is not a “con” as much as it is a “heads up”. SmartEquip is transforming into a high performance, customer focused company. Building that environment will require change and sometimes change can be disruptive in the short term in exchange for huge dividends in the long term. There is significant work being done and yet to be done in rebuilding some customer relationships as well as updating with new technologies. This is not for the fainthearted but when completed, it will be extremely positive for our customers and gratifying for employees.
