Pros

Decent pay structure and benefits.

Cons

Toxic environment. Micromanagement heavy on the condescension. Management's anger management failures. Their way or the highway mentality. Same thing all day every day...rinse repeat. 100% phone / cold-calling job. No candidate data base or social media allowed--must poach candidates from clients' competitors, using less than honest methods. Zero emotional intelligence on the part of management. Everyone who works there (with one exception) is looking to leave. Don't believe a word they say about "family environment". Interactions with co-workers not allowed. No talking, nothing but getting your phone time in. You will get PTSD from constant negative environment. I have no idea how anyone (with 1 exception) has given this company a 5* review. Seriously, take a job here at your own peril--better to run far far away and have no regrets. I'm trying to save you from the heartache, stress, and mental distress you WILL have if you work here. Unless you absolutely love cold-calling, then go ahead...they will pay you decently to do that.

Pros

Health Benefits, Vacation time - even though they make you feel guilty and undeserving of these.

Cons

-Management is AWFUL. They treat their people so terribly. + + -They train you to be a robot and to cold call every electrical distributor in a geography, say "you lost your contact but you might remember if they tell you." Then the Gatekeeper lists off all of the names, then a few days later you go back and call each of those names individually. + + -Yes that process works but they don't give you the tools to make the best of it. + + -There's no Applicant Tracking System, so it's literally impossible for most people to remember who they talked to, when they talked to them, what their background was the last time they spoke, what role they spoke about in the past. + + -Not having the right tools limits the ability to network properly + + -They don't like you even using your computer, you will get scolded if you are EVER on LinkedIn. + + -Management refuses to be open minded about the recruiting/sourcing technologies out there on the market. + + -You HAVE to hit 16 hours of phone time before Thursday at 5 or they will treat you like garbage and won't forget about that ONE week you didn't make phone time. + + -There's a recruiter that has been there for 15+ years, most recruiters on average last 4-8 months. She will get snippy with you if you have a conversation, or ask any of your coworkers a question, or try to have a conversation. She says it's "distracting" It makes for the work environment to be really unpleasant. Management has always been on her side because she basically supports the entire business with her clients. She also is the only one that has an Applicant Tracking System, and can use LinkedIn. Management thinks she is a GOD but she really is successful at her job because she is given the tools to do so. Why she is still there? I have no idea, she would make twice the amount of money having her own business and would be much happier. + + The owners promise to give you roles to work on but once you work hard to find a candidate and go present, the Hiring Manager says he NEVER ASKED FOR YOUR HELP. Or They never received followup from the owner on whether we were working on the role. It's always regarding poor followup from the owner, the relationship between the recruiter and hiring manager is always compromised because the owner doesn't follow up or doesn't give you the right requirements for the role. + + Please RUN, I could go on but at this point, I would consider NOT working here. This will ruin your mental sanity and you won't have any work life balance. No matter how hard you try to leave work at work. FORGET IT because the owner will call you sometimes at 10:00pm or on the weekend. It's hard to not think about work because of how crapy they treat you. You will NEVER be good enough for them.
