Pros
Sila strives to, and succeeds at, creating a vibrant company culture that is full of opportunity for growth. They put extraordinary effort into providing means to improve your skills and knowledge, offering various certification training in house and access to online learning for a wider array of subjects. They encourage and support your growth while creating a family-like feel. Your personal drive is your only limiting factor.
Cons
The only downside that I experienced while at Sila was the fact that I had to move on. I would have happily stayed for many more years.

Pros
Good management, benefits, work life balance. Managers have your back and are supportive. Good family feel. Cultural values are spot on. Great place to work as long as career growth and salary keeping up with inflation are not high on your priorities.
Cons
Salaries are on the lower side and once the range is maxed out in a few years, there is no room to grow. Annual raises (merit plus COLA) after upper range is maxed out do not keep up with inflation and are less than federal COLA standards. Bonuses are pretty small.

Great leadership at the top, great values, internal company culture
Cons
Limited clients and lack of variety of experiences with client work. They do have good relationship and opportunities in select domains with their main clients though.

Excellent place to build relationships with fellow technical and non-technical professionals. Client work is largely onsite and located a reasonable distance from the home offices.
Cons
Culture of the company has shifted focus as upper management attempts to expand footprint. Lack of communication from middle management.

- Great work/life balance - Very competitive compensation - Senior leadership is accessible and personally vested in every employee they bring in and want everyone to achieve their personal/professional goals. - More focused on growing the company in a sustainable and deliberate way than chasing every dollar. - Excellent internal training programs and support for professional development. - Great company culture across all offices/staff - Offices are always stocked with lots of free snacks!
Cons
- Benefits are actually too good, which makes them expensive. Adding a high deductible option would allow for lower paycheck to paycheck costs.

* Nice company culture, a lot of company-wide events to bond every one * Interesting colleagues, easy to find someone sharing similar interests as you * Great work life balance * Work is challenging, a lot of opportunities to take initiatives * Managers are extremely nice and helpful, so you can start to know different industries
Cons
* Get feedback from management could be slow * Every one tries to be a project manager in the future (could be a pro, depends) * Too quiet in the office from Mon to Thurs * Not really sure where the company wants to go in the long run * More gov contracts and fewer commercial projects (could be a pro, depends) * Turn-over rate increased in the past year

Cons
While Sila has a variety of opportunities in multiple areas of a large client's business, those who are looking for consulting opportunities with multiple clients may not be happy.

Cons
I can't think of any cons while working at Sila. The company has provided me a multitude of opportunities to grow professionally while also enabling me to have a work life balance.
