Pros

There are great people to work with. The benefits are fairly good. The PTO package is pretty standard, but nice. DJ Twin Spin comes once a quarter and that’s basically the only thing I look forward to

Cons

Some if not all of the executive leadership team is moving this company in a direction that is not benefiting the longer term employees. The flexibility of remote working has now been compromised by tracking software that was put on employee computers without our knowledge for an entire month - it’s giving a lack of trust. Hiring of cheap outside labor but not backfilling US and UK positions is hurting the remaining employees, and adding more work load and stress. Employee burnout is a reoccurring theme here, and turnover rates have gone through the roof over the last year.

Pros

Colleagues are bright. Clinical research is an amazing field.

Cons

This industry is high pressure and exacting. Our clients have high standards, and we hold patients' lives in our hands. This leads to a great deal of pressure on employees, many of whom are not supported effectively by Bracket.

Pros

Benefits are fine, PTO policy is decent, co-workers are some of the best around

Cons

Gaslighting by Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is at an all time high. Computer tracking software was installed on computers earlier this year. SLT said they are using the software to track burnout but in reality it is used as a tool to be able to fire people or question people's work ethic. If you flag there is a script provided by HR to your line manager to guide the conversation. Work is being relocated to markets where labor is cheap. High risk of US and UK jobs being eliminated all together. There have been multiple rounds of layoffs this year but leadership will not acknowledge that some have even taken place. Company does not value knowledge and experience, just wants cheap labor. They harmonize people up into roles they may not have wanted and do not offer any additional compensation for the additional work or responsibilities. Unless you are desperate and looking for a temp gig to pay bills, do not work here. It is a gaslighting, toxic work environment.
