      Definitely not the best place to work

      Pros

      I made two very good friends at Shippit that I will continue being friends with outside of my work life. People seem nice at first.

      Cons

      My manager was younger than me and less mature. He would often get angry at me in front of other employees. CEOs made it openly known that they did not like me. The head of sales comes from an account management background.

      Pros

      Superficially fun and fresh, a few nice people at the individual contributor level. I would absolutely recommend to someone who wants the feeling of a fraternity in their day to day job.

      Cons

      - It is such a boys club. It is designed for the success of the straight white man. There are also women there who perpetuate this toxic culture of being "one of the boys". - When it comes down to it, they have NO loyalty. They are very good at making you feel part of the family but when push comes to shove they will cut you out and act like they never knew you. - They have led a lot of employees (current and former) to the point of breakdown. - They turn a blind eye to toxic/questionable behaviours/fireable offences. - The above is perpetuated by the CEOs and Co-Founders. - The work itself is very stressful and many customers are deeply unsatisfied. - A lot of their success seems to be an illusion.

      Poor Management and Communication

      Cons

      Poor Management, no leadership and my manager is always rude to me. Target market very limited, lack of support and follow through from leadership. Moved to different areas of business without any letting me know.
