Just don't.

Pros

Maybe bonuses? Nothing really to share. Terrible experience.

Cons

Everything. The dictatorship is appalling and unethical. You're treated like a 5 year old by management and HR doesn't support the employees. Good luck if you have a critical issue - it's likely you'll be discriminated against.

Pros

OK compensation, predictable daily routine

Cons

Don't care about employees' well-being (forced to work in close quarters for no reason during pandemic), poor work-life balance, little room for advancement, mind-numbingly dull, old-school values (minimal openness to growth), run by a few schmucks who look at profit over everything including human life, culture of punishment and very little validation even when employees work their hind ends off 55 hours a week to make the company money

Pros

Opportunites to have hands on experiences with a variety of instrumentation and work on projects that eventually had publications

Cons

From an intern perspective, there isn't any cons. From how I saw permanent staff worked, I think there is a shortage of staff and they were given much responsibilities in a short timeline.
