      The blockchain space is fun and growing, there is plenty of opportunity for advancement at the company.

      Cons

      People are underpaid, and the products aren't that great.

      Pros

      Growing company, flexibility with hours, easy to work from home if necessary. The office is generally a fun place to work, and the other employees are always upbeat. Compared to other jobs in the financial service industry, the work life balance is excellent. Shift is a great place to work, with ample room to grow and develop your career. The management is happy to work with you on your career development goals, which means that you can pursue your interests even if it is not part of your job description when you start.

      Cons

      Shift has a "startup culture" which can be both good and bad. Your role is not extremely structured, and you will likely be asked to do tasks outside of your job description.

      Pros

      Fast-paced environment in a challenging industry. Will learn something new every day in the cutting edge crypto industry. Managers and executives enable employees to be autonomous without micromagement. Can work remotely due to Covid.

      Cons

      Not for the faint of heart. Growing company with lots to do in a 24-hour 7 day a week market. Be prepared to wear multiple hats and chip in to help with tasks outside your normal role.
