Lack of support.

Pros

Placed me on an assignment at a high rate of pay.

Cons

Appreciative of having a job thru them but in the end a disappointing experience in many ways. The on-boarding and end of assignment were both confusing with poor communication. Very little support when I began facing issues (ex. unreasonable manager) at the client. I felt like I was being hung out to dry because they were too afraid to confront the client about creating a difficult work environment. A very frustrating work experience but at least the pay was good- which seems to be all companies like these care about. I've come to the conclusion that most professional recruiters are really no different than used car salesmen. They try to sell you on something that may not necessarily be a good fit and then once you drive off they're not anywhere to found when troubles arise.

Pros

The staff there are great. They are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Be prepared to be fired without notice. they are huge fans of the 4pm friday email saying "it was mutual and we wish them the best of luck". most people never see it coming. there is no communication.

Poor Senior Leadership

Pros

I found that overall, I learned a lot about recruiting. Training was great, and overall seemed to be a busy / engaged environment. Melissa is sharp lady, and enjoyed spending time learning the business with her.

Cons

The leadership team seems to be disjointed from the team despite their desks being accessible to employees. I felt that I was treated poorly by one director in particular and, of course, the partners are going to stand up for each other regardless of the situation. Also, my team members seemed overly competitive and commission structures scared people, so verbal fights broke out.
