Depending on your team, you can work with and learn from some really talented and hard-working folks. Pay, at least for my team, is generally great.

Cons

Leadership has become AI-pilled. You know those videos you see on Tiktok of people making fun of their execs forcing AI into every conversation and wanting to AI-ify everything? Here, it's not a meme: they are incredibly serious. A few dim bulbs on the exec leadership team where the bros with the loudest voices get their way. Finally, working here is psychologically exhausting. Everything is urgent, stakes are high, mistakes are amplified and we're hit with sporadic layoffs.

Just like any company that is expanding rapidly, you will be Overworked, growth will happen extensively and the same will happen with layoffs. Mass layoffs that need to be reported will be given better severances and the other smaller scale layoffs you will be offered bear minimum. Depending on who you report to, you will not be cared for beyond what you do for them, so references are poor or non existent, for absolutely no good reason at all. All that After you worked the job of 3/4 people for the salary of 1.

Some of the work challenges were interesting but 0 support and you’re forced to lie to the ICs reporting under you regarding performance reviews. Have to score ppl lower regardless of using their rubric and r having evidence.

Cons

Leadership is incredibly poor in all aspects. Work until you drop. Layoff central. Horrible work culture.
