Pros

Vending machines in the lunchroom. R&D works with production to see what works. Safety is a high priority.

Cons

Personal value is based on seniority over merit. Supervisors are bosses, not leaders, and are disconnected from their workers. Many employees have been with the company a long time and refuse to adapt to changing technologies and conditions. Benefits have been steadily shrinking. Sales Dept. is rewarded on jobs brought in whether they are viable or not. Many employees are promoted based on seniority to a point of incompetence. Personal input from floor employees is not regarded.

Pros

Compensation and benifits are pretty good. Management does support community involvement by employees.

Cons

Communication from upper management to middle management and hourly employees is poor at best. Senior leaders are not in touch with what is happening and do not appear to want to know. Senior employees are taken for granted.
