Pros

People are great, location is fantastic if you like the Torrey Pines area. Lunch trucks can be delicious. Some underground parking to keep your paint job classy. Towel service in the gym.

Cons

Really bad management practices, there is an overwhelming feeling of distrust once you get in. Very top-heavy for absolutely no reason. Turnaround is rampant, morale is constantly sinking. The pictures on the wall are creepy and make no sense.

None. Work there if you want to quit in less than a couple months or get laid off.

Cons

Horrible upper management. The new CEO Dirk van den Boom does not care about anyone but himself. Mass company layoff. The environment is so dry they hire dry people. The recruiter has a horrible attitude.

Pros

Great science. Really, genuinely nice people to work with in all departments. Benefits are solid and salaries tend to be on the high side. Location is easy to commute to.

Cons

Promotions are hard to come by. People management is not a priority for the company, and some managers have very poor people skills. No 401(k) match.
