Pros

The product is good. You learn loads of stuff. The staff were great and very helpful at the start. Its a great place to learn about software and how financial systems work. A lot of very talented people when I started but most are gone.

Cons

The small number of managers at the top are rude and their people skills would actually frighten you. Staff are constantly on egg shells as never know who will get the sack next. The office is a horrible building, damp cold and everyone crammed into a small place. The CEO shares the same small office but never speaks to anyone, dose not understand any of the products and seems completely out of his dept. The differences in pay are scary and so wrong.

Pros

Good people, and thanks to them, a good working environment.

Cons

Some companies deserve less than one star and this company definitely meets the benchmark. In summary: low pay, disorganised, no structure in place, too much favouritism, no advancement, no family life considered, the work load is ridiculous, not enough holidays, too much stress, firing people with no warning. This company is an example of how not to run a business.

Broken dreams, shattered promises and depressingly disconsolate employees

Pros

Coworkers are generally of a very high quality and their courtesy, kindness and enthusiasm go above and beyond what can reasonably be expected. Projects are generally complex and there is scope for new learning up to a certain level, though you'll have to do most of it on your own. The product is interesting, or used to be.

Cons

Where to start? The company is severely disorganised in almost every conceivable way. Planning is a non-existent word. Projects are managed on the hoof leading to a dissatisfied customer base and despairing employees. The words "customer service" hold no meaning, those unfortunate souls working in the customer service department are doing heroic work against all odds but are overworked and under recompensed - the same is true for every other department. Many employees are so overworked, over stressed and under remunerated that they must go on extended leave in order to not risk falling seriously ill. This all stems from a lackadaisical culture fostered by senior management who are solely interested in accruing new sales to the exclusion of everything else (and I do mean everything). The overall company culture is noxious and the very deep rooted problems and astonishingly dysfunctional hierarchy stem from the top.
