      Could be a great company if not for its completely inept and clueless management team.

      Pros

      There used to be a number of perks working for Sennheiser. All of them have been discontinued one by one, with the only perk left being; it's a ok resume builder for another company within the industry.

      Cons

      Management and nonexistent HR will lie to your face. Will pay you lower than you ever thought possible and tell you if you don't like it you can always leave. Most of their best and brightest do.

      Below standard pay, benefits eroding, not competitive

      Pros

      Great employees. Some great bosses. Some legendary products, name recognition. Great place to build your resume while looking for another position elsewhere.

      Cons

      Used to have great benefits, profit sharing, bonuses etc - that's long gone. Benefits are below industry standard as well as the pay. Used to be that the pay was low but the benefits are great. Now both are below average. They will give you lip service about using an outside firm to review and ensure your pay is competitive and of course it always comes back that it is. If you are in sales, they will defer your compensation until the next year While earning interest for themselves. For everyone else outside of sales you get no bonuses, no profit sharing - even if the company has a banner year. Keeping your job is your bonus. Company is now restructured and more siloed than ever. Everybody does their own thing and nobody knows what the other hand is doing. Used to be competitive now competition is way ahead. Headquarters in Germany knows what is best for everyone - you have no say.

      Pros

      Great products. Willingness to develop new products in Germany. Some very nice co-workers. Good exposure to the market via participation in many trade shows and access to many different channels. Very good benefits.

      Cons

      Below market salaries. Management uses excuse that salary reflects Connecticut shoreline but they are way off considering national averages. Strange out of touch culture at times.
