Very little opportunities for progression (most people leave after a year or two due to this and the very low pay). Museum is guilty of green-washing and funded by fossil fuels. The museum suffers from terrible leadership at director level, where everyone is too intimidated to challenge the director. The director seems to be financially out of touch. Salaries have been declining year after year in real terms (some staff barely able to get by), while directors push through unnecessary pet projects costing an obscene amount. All projects are under-resourced due to financial issues, yet funding for strange vanity projects, barely related to science or the museum's core ethos, continue to be approved. This is shameful leadership.

-Irregularities such as giving away jobs, without going through formal applications or interviews, not treating everyone fairly and equally. -No career progression and development. -Managers are very young, inconsistent, unexperienced and unprofessional. -The museum is more a theme park now, a huge commercial play area. Making money is the only priority.
