Pros

Was told there would be great opportunity and credible employers. Other colleagues were nice and pleasant. Clients were interesting and professional.

Cons

CEO, Mr. Nugent, is the last person you would ever want to work with. Insulting, uninspiring, and stuck on himself for no apparent reason. Negative feelings from other employees and clients as well.

Pros

Extremely results oriented culture, fantastic pay for the location. I can't stress enough how important it was to me that I had no time card/vacation schedule/work schedule/etc. I was compensated for the work I did. I worked with some of the sharpest people I've ever met during my tenure at Scalar. Scalar's clients are extremely smart, senior level executives at venture backed companies; I made friends that will be beneficial throughout my career.

Cons

I worked long hours and client demands were occasionally stressful and intense. There weren't health benefits. Management can be very detailed and occasionally intimidating for some.
