Had the unfortunate experience of working at one of the site construction project in 2019 and I feel compelled to share the below facts. - Toxic Workplace Environment : Toxicity starts at the top pose of site management team. The leadership seems more interested in maintaining power and control than in fostering a healthy work environment. Too much of micromanagement, and rarely listen to the concerns of their employees. The project manager at was insufferably obsessed with micromanaging every aspect of the project. Instead of empowering and trusting the team, they constantly hovered over us, stifling creativity and demoralizing the staff. - Vulgar Language and Verbal Abuse: Perhaps the most shocking aspect of my time was the project manager’s frequent use of vulgar, loud tone and disrespectful language when interacting with the staff. They had a penchant for scolding and berating employees in a manner that was not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive.
