Supportive team and rewarding work, but leadership issues persist
Pros
Friendly team, nice office location, plenty of rewarding work to be done, and an ambitious, enthusiastic team. A great bunch of people to work with from the top to the bottom.
Cons
A confusing structural alignment with a very top-heavy leadership team. Too many leaders with little real experience in the roles they were performing. Some legacy product development strategies needed to be weeded out, with a stronger product leadership put in place. There were some very important roles filled by safety professionals with the hope that the domain knowledge would carry the day, and to be fair, I think it did, if you wanted to stay the same; however, the ambition for growth is strong, international markets, expansion to Enterprise deals and faster sales cycles. Over-reliance on domain knowledge vs functional experience is an Achilles heel at the moment.
