Pros

The student atmosphere is encouraging and the library is at the tips of your fingers.

Cons

The college writing program use to pay employees $15 per hour, but recently laid off all the workers and forced teachers to work in the writing center and the time worked is calculated as a "class". Teachers that are part one that were making $15 an hour PLUS teaching up to 3 classes were able to make a decent living. Now, they are forced into an even lower level of poverty while tuition rates are increasing and administration is making significant amounts of money.

Pros

Great colleagues, laid-back environment, decent facilities

Cons

Extremely low pay, even w/ a recent slight raise -- class caps are too high! -- College recently relaxed admissions standards w/o prepping faculty for an onrush of incoming students utterly unprepared for college and actually not that into college.
