      Mission oriented but a few kinks

      Pros

      The mission of STAR is honorable, founder is an amazing person with a truly caring heart and treats each employee like family, the staff is like family

      Cons

      Lots of changes and high turnover while I was there made staff nervous. Lingering nepotism and narcissism.

      Small, family-focused employer; Focused on helping individuals with disabilities reach for their goals; Friendly staff

      Cons

      Upper Management non-responsive to staff and middle management needs and issues; Upper management fires/lets go staff for random reasons without cause often; Too much gossiping and back-biting by upper level managers and the staff with whom they are friend -- causes strife within the staff.
