Pros

The previous human culture before the current hatchet minded new leadership came over from Donnelly. There are no pros except for the people who actually do the day to day work that are still left from all the cuts.

Cons

The current leadership is narrow minded, not true strategic leaders except in name /nepotism and has no strategic ways to make their numbers but to resort to the only way non-talented people solve for this - by cutting people in key roles. They don’t realize the value of these people until they are gone because management never bothered to ask the right people the right questions when they are welding their hatchet. Now they are hiring back for a lot of the jobs they cut but at lower salaries. They are also passing ooff junior employees as having experience in areas that they don’t because they cut the people that did. This raises a question of the ethics of the company in being transparent with employers on what they have qualified people to do. If you are a potential employee or client looking at SGK, I would hurry away. If this is how they treat the employees that give their all here - by cutting them and replacing with non-experienced cheaper people - you will be just a number to them. Better to work with a company that stands by what they say and shows humanity to all its people vs. treating them as interchangeable cogs

Pros

Really nice co-workers. Interesting clients

Cons

Absolutely no growth unless you are male and young. Merit increases are rare, and when you do get one - it is typically 1%. And Management will make it a point to tell you how "lucky" you are getting such a generous pay increase. You end up making less money each year you work at SGK due to inflation.
