Boy, where should I start? IBU in China is a team of ignorant people; all they do best is to destroy and sabotage operations in US, yet they think they are masters of encyclopedia of business conducts in US. if you are a general employee, you are more or less fine; however, if you are a manager and need to interact with China, then you would feel you are hired to explain and resolve nonsense questions. Management has no plan nor strategy how to develop business; the KPI imposed by IBU is ridiculous and totally out of touch of US market practice. HR team is totally a joke; unprofessional, incapable and sneaky, which contributed to this unhealthy and toxic culture. When i say HR team, i mean from CHO from China to local recruiter, none of whom has the basic HR person qualities. Most internal processes are still paper-based and manual; iT infrastructure is 5 years behind. Yet, even with this outdated operation where you need more human resource to do the job, IBU once in a while restricts you to hire people to do the job. To sum it up, you do not wanna work here; but, if you can speak Chinese and you cannot find a job in traditional US companies, you can try here and good luck.
