They've lost sight of their mission

Pros

They've brought on a fantastic job placement manager, and they're at least half-heartedly attempting to promote blind people from within the company into new positions.

Cons

Financials are out of whack, HR is fairly incompitent, company is going “corporate” in the worst way, and they discriminate against the very people they claim to serve.

The organization offers amazing resources for the blind and visually impaired. The blind and visually impaired employees are incredible and kind. They love coming to work and feeling part of a community & family.

Cons

The HR Department is subpar and lacks true leadership. Some leaders are lax and lack professionalism. The benefit premiums are inexpensive, but the insurance isn't the best out there. No HSA or Flexible Spending Account 40 hours a year of PTO
