Pros
You work on very interesting projects, the people are great to work with, flexible hours, great work atmosphere
Cons
Management tends to struggle with communication, they tend to treat non-architects (landscape architects, interior designers, and engineers) as second class citizens, Principals need to improve communication with staff. Very often work is promised to clients without discussing with project managers or studio leaders. It is not right when a Principal promises a client a project by a certain date without consulting your managers. Then the team is spending the weekend in the office while the Principal is in Cape Cod. Lead by example!
