      They left a very bad memory in my mind

      Very genius engineers

      Cons

      - 70% of the company is people who have been there for more than 20 years. - Don't have time to train new hires. Expect them to know everything. - Hire people with different backgrounds as temporary to use what they know and then release them for a phoney reason of lack of work.

      Their employees was the best thing about the firm

      Pros

      The long-term employees (over 20 years) treated everyone as part of the family and genuinely cared for each other. In the end the people were the best thing about the firm. I would say there are probably five principals who are just amazing in every sense, and whom I will always respect and appreciate.

      Cons

      The company used to be more about their employees and as a result the company did well, but once the new CEO took over it all became about profit and dollars. It unfortunately became a competition among principals and senior associates and much less about the rest of the employees. By the end of my stay at this firm there weren't any raises, bonus or 401k matching because they have to fund the retirement of the senior principals. It became a cut throat corporation when it used to be such a nice, warm firm.

      Great people but not a dynamic work place

      Pros

      Technically challenging projects. Very smart and engaging people. Felt cared about as a person. Small office feel. Many long term employees....

      Cons

      R&C seems reluctant to grow. The have been the around the same number of employees for years. They have great loyality among the senior staff but that creates a barrier for advancement in the firm. You can count the number of people who have to retire before you can advance.
