The onboarding experience is incredible. Even before my first day I felt welcomed into Russell's culture. As someone who has primarily worked for small companies, I appreciated being connected with my onboarding team who I met with frequently during my first year. They helped me feel integrated into the company culture right away. The culture at Russell is a healthy combination of hard work and fun. It's inspiring to work alongside other high-achieving people who also understand the importance of bringing your whole self to work and having fun. I feel challenged and supported by my team members, both in and out of my department. The universal time off is a great benefit. I'm encouraged to take the time off that I need to take care of myself and my family.
Cons
There are some growing pains as the company continues to grow, especially around communication, BUT leadership is on top of these issues and works with all departments to thoughtfully work through these issues.
Horrible culture. Leaders come from outside the construction industry, have no construction experience, and lead with their ego. Huge turnover percentage in the STL office.
