Pros

Unfortunately, my experience at the company was so terrible I have nothing positive to say.

Cons

The problem with the company starts with Amber Schaub (the CEO) and ends with Mark Schaub (the COO).

I am disappointed to read this review, but stand 100% behind my decision to terminate this employee. The cohesiveness of our team is one of the things that I love about our company, as I am blessed to be surrounded daily by hard working, compassionate and inspiring people. Everyone supports one another, it is extremely low drama and a positive environment overall. As the CEO, I am a bit biased about some things, but this positive team feedback we receive over and again from tenured employees and new team members alike. Unfortunately the former employee that wrote this review did not contribute to this cohesiveness. Quite the opposite, we had major challenges both in performance and also their ability to get along with co-workers. These issues required 3 separate disciplinary meetings in the first 30 days of employment. I am very sorry that it was not a good fit and truly wish you all the best going forward, but I do stand by my decision

We'll admit fully that we'd much prefer to have these conversations in person in order to truly get to the core of the issue(s) and ultimately affect meaningful change. We understand that this forum is a place where frustrations and disappointment often overwhelm fact - and to this end we will always try to set the record straight with fact-based information and statements. We'll continue to proactively suggest future candidates come to this site and read through all of the reviews with an open mind and level head. We understand it's an anonymous forum where ex-employees and competitors alike can anonymously write nasty-grams about the company - but it also has a lot of great info within it. It's important to read-between-the-lines and find what resonates louder. For those that want access to C-level execs of an entrepreneurial enterprise, for those that want to be directly compensated for the outstanding work product - then we have what you need. This is a place where thought-leaders, self-motivated managers and those who like to excel can plant roots and really thrive. Again, we certainly appreciate this ex-employees time with our company and honestly hope they find a future workplace where their skills and personality allow them to thrive.

Pros

Cool product. Great coworkers. Decent pay.

Cons

Reading the COO response to any negative review on here. He has no problem disparaging former employees who dare speak out. He posted ones resignation letter, divulged another was on probation, etc. This seems very petty to me. Obviously you are going to have some negative former employees....that's why they are former employees. It is not a good look to stoop to their level just to get the last word. In fact, instead of making the company look good, it does quite the opposite. Very amateurish.

We fully realize that our company isn't a great fit for everyone, and are quick to point this out in pre-interview phone screens. We're also quick to point out that we are ALWAYS open and willing to listen to employee feedback and will constantly and relentlessly work to make our company, work environment and team the best that it can be. Prior responses attempt to factually address former employee's willingness to post disparaging and unverified remarks anonymously on a public forum that potential future hires use to vet our company. We were and are here to listen to feedback and make changes to improve - but can only do this with two way communication - and to this end ALWAYS prefer an in person conversation vs. trying to summarize complicated issues in a few sentences on a public forum. Getting the last word isn't the important thing, but putting truthful context to an anonymous review and thereby painting our company in a more impartial light hopefully is.
