Pros

They let you bring your dog to the office, but someone always books the calendar with their ugly scrawny dog. So don't even try.

Cons

Everyday feels like you're walking on egg shells. Someone gets fired every week because Steven just doesn't like him/her. When he says he'll give you a raise it's a lie. He'll pretend he forgot when you mention it. And then when & if you actually get it, he'll secretly try to find a way to get rid of you because now you're too expensive to have on staff. How do I know? Oh, because he has his favorite employee minions that he tells and it slips from time to time. Steven is a nightmare. He messed with my head so much and to this day, I'm just not the same person anymore. When I worked for this devil I felt like scum. He said things and did things that really made me feel like I couldn't trust anyone or go to anyone for help. I felt like I was suffocating and dying. He harassed me and my coworkers. We signed a non defamation agreement because he admits that he did all those crazy things you see on glassdoor reviews. He also like to tell people who interview for Rocket55. What an idiot. Yes, there are good reviews. Are they real? Well... if you see a ton of 1 star reviews and then a bunch of 5 star... you tell me... I'm glad I left the company, finally. I went to another agency and you know what the most interesting is? Rocket55 is 10 years behind. Those guys think they are ahead of all the agencies in Minneapolis. Well sorry I have to break this to you, you're really not as smart as you think and no.. you're not ahead of the game. Today, I am still be trying to build my confidence again after being there... I'm glad I survived though. You might laugh... but if you decide you want to work there... don't say I didn't warn you. Also... Rocket55 pays low compared to its competitors... but who can blame them? Hire newbies out of college since they're all desperate to get into the digital marketing biz and pay low.... You can get more pay & experience from somewhere else. This company is not face-paced. It just has a hard time scaling because mgmt is dumb. They don't know how to scale and they just piling more work on everyone else. Micromanage as well. You'll have to record everything that you do... from sending a quick email to having a conversation with a coworker. It's ridiculous.

Pros

They are located near lots of bars which is helpful because the toxic culture will drive you to drink.

Cons

There are a ton of fake reviews about how good it is at Rocket55. The whole "if you want to work 9-5, don't work here" is a huge red flag to anyone who knows what a toxic work environment is. That is code for "we will over work you and shame you into working late and on weekends."

Pros

The team members are great to work with. It's probably because of the open floor plan. If we were in cubicles it would be harder to build a relationship.

Cons

You're seeing 5 star reviews because you have to sign a non defamation contract before you start. Obviously, no employee can leave a bad review... That's already a red flag. The CEO, Steven Ayers, needs to GTFO. He loves to harass people. I'm so tired of seeing and being harassed by this man. It is not okay to corner someone and confront them about being gay. It's not okay to say that women's opinions don't matter. It's not okay to make false promises about raises and never go through with it.
