Sometimes there is conflict on how the parent company wants us to conduct business, and how we think our business should be conducted.

Pros

This company is always trying to improve and the people here believe in the product and have a lot of pride in what they do. The managers care about their employees. Benefits are generous. Office is laid back and fair. I really enjoy working here.

Cons

The location is a little remote but not too bad. Still some growing pains but can be exciting.

Pros

Great brand name especially in the industry. Overall a very unique product. Some great people who work hard to make things happen despite the lack of leadership. Good work life balance and pretty relaxed working environment.

Cons

So many constant changes in top management = restructures galore = bad / no leadership, no decisions, no direction, no long term vision, no identity. Product development stumbles along and can't keep pace with competitors. It's such a shame to work with such a unique product in a great industry but with people who are completely clueless at times. Lots of politics. Very flat structure, very limited career advancement opportunities.
