Pros

Nice office culture, nice office. On a personal basis, everyone is pleasant to talk to.

Cons

Bad work culture. Work won't follow you home, but you'll almost always be at work later than is reasonable, and will often miss lunches/breaks in order to fulfill your workload. Add to that the ridiculous and frequent addition of "rush" clients (who will add 33% more work to your day when assigned), and you've got a headache of a job. Management will sometimes ask how they can improve, and ignore the primary complaint of "too much work" by offering up non-solutions like workplace meditation sessions, or vague promises of better equipment, as though these were the core issues.

Pros

Downtown Toronto Convenient travel is the only benefit.

Cons

- Doesn't pay industry standards, will exploit every ounce of you - Only valued writers, if you work for any other role, STAY AWAY. - Will not even pay at times - Won't let you live in peace, even if the business is doing well. Very micro-managed and greedy company. - No opportunity to grow. Take up any other job anywhere else, but not here.

Misleading job description

Pros

Nothing really. It's a small company and if you like selling over the phone than you will like it. The hours are good and weekends are off.

Cons

I applied for the Customer service Manager role. The job description is misleading. It's outbound calling to customers. Sales heavy job. Training is mediocre and everbody tells you different things. Be ready to be on the phones constantly. No incentives. Benefits don't apply until you hit the 6 month mark. The turn over rate seems high as most folks on the sales team are new except the owner. There are no performance metrics or incentives in place. Communication is not good.
