They are terrible about forecasting growth or they just don’t care about the repercussions. Either you are in a team that is woefully under staffed and you have to work all the time to cover the work required to complete…… or you are part of some hires that are just waiting for new customers. When sales do not win a few new customers they lay off most of the new hires. Also, when they lose contracts they already had, those overworked people don’t get support, just MORE layoffs.
You can try to say it is the market fluctuations but it is poor forecasting, poor management and NO regard for their people.
