Pros

NONE, its not a real job at all

Cons

This job is basically sending your friends/family job links and hoping they get hired somewhere, once they get hired you get paid an undisclosed amount. It's a big waste of time.

For every job on our platform, we clearly list the referral reward, and we try to connect healthcare professionals who are actually looking for jobs to the positions on the platform (since “selling” contacts doesn’t really have benefits to either the employer or the employee). Pros

The person who I initially spoke to on the phone was friendly. However, he sold me on the company as if it were a real lifecycle recruiting thing.

Cons

- You find people on platforms you pay for yourself (indeed, dice, recruiter), and if you have recruiting experience you generally know a qualified candidate when you speak to them. You submit them, but that’s it. After that you have no communication with the candidate because Relode is contracted out as a 3rd party from other recruiting companies to find candidates. So you find them add them to system and they take them and send them along. - It’s not real recruiting it’s just sourcing. You submit a candidate, and if the “client” accepts them then you get the listed referral bonus. - You cannot look in the database at the pool of candidates. You can only see yours or candidates that have been robotically added to a position as being “qualifying.” You can submit them if they fit the skills needs, and potentially get a reward. - The rewards listed range from $0-$400+. So you think wow that’s a nice chunk of money for sourcing a candidate. Then you see that you are eligible to make $5000 if this person gets hired. They never get hired. They’ve just taken your candidate. They rarely approve them and typically reject them for a strange reason such as “not eligible” - There are over 900 recruiters for them because it’s a scam and there isn’t any money to be made - Occasionally they will approve a submittal and you’ll get the reward, but that is about 1 out of every 10 you send over. So don’t try to source for the highest paid reward you can find because they won’t accept that submittal. They will reject the candidates without any realistic reasoning - You are kind of a slave who finds resources to make the company’s pockets bigger - There is always a large turnover rate in the corporate staff. There were 3 separate waves of them while I was recruiting because one person who email me and then all of a sudden a new name would email me, and then after sometime another one and none of them ever seem to be on the positions more than once or in contact. - Don’t was te your time or money on this, and definitely don’t invest in sourcing platforms because it’ll cost more than you’ll make back.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience being a part of our Professional Virtual Recruiter community. I'm unsure of the individual you spoke with originally when you joined the Relode platform, however we do have two types of positions one of which you find and refer candidates to any positions you would like and designated individuals manage them for you through the hiring process, or individuals with extended recruiting experience who are approved for our Talent Advisor platform both source and manage their own candidates to perform the more life-cycle recruiting that you referred to. Relode is a crowdsourced platform and is built on virtual recruiters who are able to work as much or as little as they would like, with their own sourcing tools, as you mentioned, without having to go out and find their own clients and jobs to work on. All clients on our platform are directly contracted with our team to help fill their healthcare roles, and we act as a direct vendors rather than a 3rd party. Our team would be happy to discuss your concerns about how the referral and management process works once you input a candidate and the ownership period of 90 or 30 days you retain for each person you have referred. Easy to use platform. Relatively good communication with internal Reps

I was a recruiter for several years previously in the medical field, after having a child, I was looking for a position I could work out of my home. Unfortunately a virtual recruiter at Relode is not it. After 6 months, have had enough. Apparently they now have about 950 TA’s talent associates, as any one who has done any level of recruiting, would know, its mandatory to have a relationship with the client. At Relode you wont ever. You will not ever speak to the client or be able to promote your carefully sourced candidate to them. The jobs for the most part feature clients who at best have a vague interest in paying a recruiter and aggressively solicit and list their jobs with multiple others agencies at the same time. Often times the clients aggressively hire on their own. You will send your care fully prepped candidate into to Relode and then wait, and wait and wait, usually the job closes- job filled by client themselves. Or after several weeks the job will be closed as the staff at Relode got frustrated and closed the job as the client was a poor communicator. Often times the jobs are like a game of wack a mole, Jobs opening and closing and opening and closing again. They also feature the lowest commissions, I have ever seen for a experienced recruiter right about 2%, after a time I figured out they really don’t have experienced full time recruiters making money, most of the TA’s make a few dollars a month referring their friends and leads. Try to find someone who has been there several years working as a virtual recruiter full time. I have tried Stop promoting the job, as a valid recruiting position. 950 Virtual recruiters filling the jobs makes it “virtually” impossible to make a living at it
