Pros
Great location, lovely and talented frontline staff, decent pension and healthcare benefits, monthly Friday drinks, occasional events/parties, good work/life balance encouraged.
Cons
Doesn't make the best use of the talented people that work there. Management very inexperienced and incompetent and waste far too much time and budget. Saw many people be driven away by poor treatment which contributes to a high staff turnover. Also salary gulf can be offensively huge - I once discovered I was on £8k less than someone junior to me in my department. No bonuses and little chance of career development here. Could've and should've been a great company, but is hampered by failure to be efficient and listen to what staff have to say.

Pros
Great office location, in the heart of Brighton. They have a decent pension scheme as well, and some of the staff is exceptionally good at what they do and great to work with. There's also no real crunch, thanks to good project planning.
Cons
Horrible senior management team, they're inexperienced and due to a lack of management skills they either use intimidation to try to get things done, or try to offload the responsibility to someone else so they can't be blamed. I've never worked at a place before with such a huge staff turnover, but of course management never sees themselves as the reason for that. No attention was paid to career development, salaries are below industry standard and morale is incredibly low. I don't believe the studio will be still there by the end of this year.

Pros
This company has some really great people working there, and some real talent. It's also in the centre of Brighton and only a 5 minute walk away from the beach.
Cons
In my career I have never seen such a poor senior management team. They use intimidation and bullying as tactics in order to get things done and always look for people to blame in case something goes wrong, and the CEO never shows his face. There's also no career development in this place, I'm surprised to see that they're still going.

Pros
Their aim is to mitigate 'crunch' through effective scheduling and for the most part it worked - I never 'had' to work late or over a weekend. The office is in a nice location and filled with friendly faces and the company was always keen to be involved in local activities.
Cons
Wages were not great, and the team building attempts came across as a little false sometimes. But then you only get out of these things what you put in.
