Pros

I honestly cannot think of anything positive

Cons

Shocking management. No one listens. Zero support. Disorganised chaos. Toxic clicky environment.

Pros

Nice Office, breakfast, little perks like chocolate

Cons

Cons are literally everything else - and it starts and ends with the MD. I was using three rec2rec’s when searching for a role when I ended up taking this one – 2 of them forewarned me of exactly what would happen if I accepted a job here but I pressed ahead anyway due to the charming interview process. I wish I would have listened The charm stops the moment you start. CCTV is monitored, the MD genuinely reads your emails and will print them out and bring them into meetings with you, there’s a real culture of distrust fostered by clandestine monitoring. In short, it’s a nightmare. Everybody is always annoyed, and you get the feeling it's a deliberate tactic

Good on paper, but so awful in practice

Pros

- Members of staff are really friendly and genuinely seem to care about you once you make friends with them - Free breakfast in the morning and soft drinks from the fridge whenever you want - Flexible working hours are a big plus and working here will definitely look good on the CV - Great Old Street location (they are due to move to Alie Street in Aldgate in January however)

Cons

- A highly political and toxic environment to work in. You don’t know where you stand with the company - unless you’re making it money and are seen, but not heard. - Cliques are sadly in abundance in the office which is not the fault of employees – but of management and its practices. Gossiping and Chinese whispers were aplenty during my tenure with the company. - The MD (who legit looks like Ness from Super Smash Bros) and his closest advisers - namely HR - are all nice and smiles to your face. But they are always making judgments and talking behind your back – which I found out the hard way in the end. - CCTV cameras in the office – which I’m told on good authority the MD constantly reviews to potentially “weaponise” against employees. Small whispers abound he actually reads the emails of employees as well. - No compassion when it comes to a work/life balance – especially if it relates to an unforeseen emergency circumstance. Pray to God you don’t have one while working here.
