Pros

- The employees are ace - Fish tank - Hammok - I don’t work there any more & never have to interact with Lee Omar — the boss! — again

Cons

Oh wow where do I start?! - CEO is a sociopath who is very creative with the truth to say the least.. - “Barely legal accounting “ and financing -Spending customer money on debts & other projects -Not a good environment for women or anyone with a brain! - Fraudulent expense claims, ripping off big funding companys like Innovate - The boss has Zero and I mean zilch tech knowledge (pretty bad for a so-callled tech company) or project management or software development understanding. -Loads of designers and people to make stuff look nice but touch anything and it falls a part - Underresourced projects with impossible timescales - insane staff turnover - False promises to both customers and staff! - The company has a very bad reputation with customers (I was warned against working here even before I’d started!

Pros

Employees are kinda cute. I made some friends there. You are allowed to drink and eat in the office. Employees are nice. Oh and did I mention the employees?

Cons

CEO is honestly a pile of garbage left to rot on the hottest day of the summer in an African desert. I’ve never met someone more misogynistic. Management is not that good either. Very stingy. Broken promises.

Pros

There are a few pros, the people who work here (apart from upper management) are fantastic people. They are knowledgeable, kind and they all stick together which is vital in the toxic environment of the company. A lot of the projects do have potential, however resourcing issues, misallocation of funds and borderline theft really kill any hope of success off for many projects. I no longer work there and no longer have to work with the laughable management. There is no way for management to save this sinking ship.

Cons

Where to start, the company is really trying to put the man back into management, the misogynistic undertones of upper management are a disgrace and I am appalled by the way they have acted in the past. The staff turnover is unbelievable, going from 30 something people down to almost nothing is a clear sign that something is not right. Threats and bullying of staff is seen as normal, and the impact is clear on the remaining staff. The trouble is there is no HR to report the issue to, so you are left to suffer. Creative work is treated as something that needs to be piled high and done quickly, unlike many places I have worked at in the past, the respect given to creative work is nonexistent, quality is not appreciated yet the CEO gives his creative input, which quite frankly leaves a lot to be desired in terms taste and sense. For a design driven company its outrageous. The CEO also brings in additional work, not for the company but for himself. The reports of fake reviews are true, and threats have been made to members of staff if positive reviews are not left, these positive reviews are censored by the CEO to ensure that nothing bad is said, anything else is taken out. Project management and planning is non existent, the only management is when something goes wrong, then management will slowly move into action and then it is normally just to look for some chump to take the fall. This would be OK, but once the fire is out its back to the old standby of no management. There is no work life balance, the only balance in the place is the many projects that are like spinning plates and the workload is insurmountable. The company has clearly mortgaged its future on accepting more projects that it could possibly handle and it is now beginning to bite. Workers are often accused of underperforming, and basically leaching money off of the company, which given everything else that happens in the company is completely laughable.
