The only reason there are positive reviews on glassdoor for RD is due to two things: 1. the reviews were left before 2019 when the company actually had awesome leadership 2. The new all male management team pressured current employees to leave good reviews to outweigh the honest negative ones

Cons

-Overworked and underpaid- bonus' are a hoax - CEO & CFO have never been in storage/real estate and actually have no idea what they are doing -CEO & CFO make fun of employees in front of other employees - There is no 'culture' anymore, the Texas c-team abolished all-so do not fall for the faulty 'award winning culture' advertising (those awards were won in 2018 & 2019 when there were open and honest leaders) -I had heard first hand CEO & CFO in front of HR use discriminatory language - Not a welcoming place and honestly just trying to let people know what they will be signing up for if they decide to work here. My advise: Don't! Life is too short to be unhappy and be mistreated.

If you like a company ran by insecure, inept management that thrive on a toxic culture, Red Dot Storage is the place for you! Constant firings, paired with horrible communication and dwindling benefits, make the office a suffocating place to be. There are so many great companies out there, don’t get caught here.

Good Pay, Used to be good leadership here from the ORIGINAL CEO. There has basically been a hostile takeover and is now being led by two faced people. They are all drinking buddy’s. If you are in the young hip crowd you are golden as long as you don’t try to work to hard. If you strive to better yourself along with the company, you are now considered a threat. They will find a reason to get rid of you or push you out the door.

Cons

If you are a hard worker, you will not last long here. Company is ran by people with no business sense nor an understanding of the business they are in. Most of the directors, VP etc. promote themselves to new positions on a monthly basis. Most of the higher ups are young women with no job experience or any skills of the industry that can be justified for the position they are in ( hmmm makes you wonder?). Unfortunately, this could have been a wonderful company but it appears it will most likely not be around for long under new leadership. Such a shame! Investors will come face to face with real numbers at some point and are going to be really disappointed when the Truth comes out. How unfortunate! A company can not survive with the Attitude of: The customers need us, we don’t need them! LOL
