Pros

To be fair, this company has one of the best benefits I have seen offered by any employer. Actually, health insurance is the one reason why many employees decide to stay working for Recaro.

Cons

The only company throughout my life that I have seen not taking bullying/sexual harassment seriously. Sexual harassment is rampant in this company, guys there behave with some women as if they were just a piece of meat. Bullying, well, everyone there saw an 18 year old kid being bullied by a 6’2 26 years old guy for months, and despite the many complaints from workers, from the same kid which was crying most of the time, nothing was done except suspend the guy for a week. The guy came back and kept doing the same crap, telling the kid that he was a piece of crap and that he was gonna get beat up. A shame to be honest.

Pros

Vacation time is good Bonus’ are “ok” if you actually get one

Cons

Management is clueless. Policies are ignored. Promote the incompetent Overwork/underpay the competent Vacation and sick time is actually rolled into one so IF you never get sick then vacation time(PTO) is good. Otherwise, you get screwed. And don’t get injured on the job. You start having to use that PTO. Safety management is laughable. The workman’s comp will claim it has nothing thing to do with work, that it’s age related, but a specialist says it has everything to do with work. This type of injury isn’t age related for at least another 20-25 years. 20-25 YEARS!

Pros

Great benefits 100% payed (no including copays & $250 deductible), work is easy generally speaking, 8 - 10 hr days Pay is ok for single people with no commitments Temperature controlled work place, generally speaking. We use to have family events but all that was taken away last fall surprisingly after a hug experience provided for unnecessary footwear & monitor for dock arrivals.

Cons

Although Recaro's health care package is the primary reason for the majority of their employees staying, at some point it won't be enough. There is still a huge lack in communication. There is a false sense of community connection especially after all the stunts they pulled last fall "but they didn't lay off employees" -political statement-. Leadership & management don't truly listen to employees otherwise, questions would be really answered instead of left as a blow off. Seems like a good 70% of what Recaro does after the sale is reactive, not proactive.
