Pros

Generous compensation; positive culture, stability in management; conservative philosophy in comparison to other oil and gas entities; professional, yet compassionate HR department

Cons

My only con is that my employment with Range Resources was terminated due to the sale of my division, and there was no opportunity to transfer and stay with the company.

Pros

I have learned more about the other aspects of my field/profession. Range is an employee driven company where that they go out of their way to reward and pamper their employees with benefits from offering a summer 9/80 flex schedules to raffle ticket drawings to major pro and collegiate sporting events. This company is focused on giving back to the employees and the communities. I couldn't be happier and plan on retiring from this company.

Cons

I honestly do not have an thing i would consider a true Con to working for Range other than normal inner office politics that you find in every place of employment.

Pros

Good benefits, insurance is really good. Before changes in management there was a real effort to build a team. It was a great place to work a few years ago where I felt like my work was valued

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, forget about family, like being in high school with all the gossip and cliques - if you don't fit the mold you will be treated like garbage, hidden agendas - managers want to promote/hire only certain people (e.g. Their buddies)
