Pros

Fast paced exciting work environment. Great opportunity to meet several great people through work and travel. The ability to impact people's lives in a posetive way.

Cons

Resources and staff can be stretched very thin. Burnout from long hours and work loads is quite common. Communication and team work from one department to the other can be lacking at times.

Pros

The actual event is amazing. The founders Tanner Bell, Dan Hill, and Steve Hill poured their heart into creating something truly special. I love the people I work with (not including senior management)

Cons

Several years ago Investors installed one of their partners as CEO, forced out 2/3 of the founders and have completely marginalized the third. Since then anyone that stands up to the CEO has been forced out of the company. People are promoted not for their skills but for their compliance. Because of this, management is completely out of touch with what's going on in the company. Nobody tells them the truth for fear of reprisal. Most, if not all, talented people consistently shop for other jobs and leave once they find them. There is no hope for advancement or fulfillment within Ragnar. It's heartbreaking

Pros

Working at Ragnar WAS my favorite job and I loved working there and spent a lot of my career there. Open PTO is great as long as you get your work done, fee travel after you work super hard at races, and it used to have great people that worked there.

Cons

Terrible leadership. The current CEO was chosen because he's a man and the because the entire board is made up of only men. The only thing that made him qualified to be put in the CEO role, was that he started the company. He has poor leadership skills and can't make a solid decision with his life dependent on it. Then, he let go of all the people he didn't like and put people in positions who had no business being in those positions. He pushed out good, hardworking people that would have done anything for the brand. Decisions are made based on feelings and not data. Pay is extremely low for the amount of stress that is involved. They could not care less about their employees.
