      While a career plan exists, growth in technical roles is significantly harder than in planning or coordination. There is a lack of focus on the technical teams that actually keep the company running. In practice, technical professionals take twice as long to advance compared to those in coordination roles.

      understanding management, good benefits, and mostly client work

      Cons

      since it is mostly just client work, you will always find yourself bending to the clients' will and maybe working extra hours because of that.
