Pros

Majority of people are passionate about their careers and the offices located throughout California are in good locations. Benefits are above average for industry standard.

Cons

Management will often only check in with you to tell you that the project is over budget instead of checking the design or addressing the needs of the client. Designs and plans can be rushed due to management wanting to make a bigger profit, leading to lower quality work. Often clients are told that highly experienced employees will work on the project, when in reality it is usually designers with minimal experience to save money.

Hey, this is Erik and I was reading through the Glass Door reviews and read yours. I am interested in your comments which I take to heart and want to be sure we address areas of our collaboration, leadership or performance that is not as strong as it should be. I would really like to listen more carefully and understand how we might do a better job. Stop by my office anytime or shoot me an email so we can connect on this and anything else you feel we could improve upon. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Pros

Overall company culture Predominately wonderful people Good benefits and employee-owned

Cons

I am saddened to have to share this, because I believe that overall the company is wonderful. I waited a few months after I left the company to write this review, because I wanted to make sure I could recount my experience clearly and without (too much) emotion. To put it simply and without overstatement, I had a debilitating, traumatic experience for months due to incessant actions by a member of management. For those looking to work at RRM, do your due diligence to make sure you will not work under someone who is known to act with belittlement, belligerence, and obfuscation. (I am assured that I am not alone in this opinion, although my experience may have been especially egregious.) No one deserves to experience what I did.
