Amazing opportunities, but not for everyone!

Pros

A FinOps role here is a fantastic opportunity to work with multiple interesting, dynamic companies. It's a fast-paced role that requires juggling priorities & deadlines and a fair amount of fighting fires, so it might not be a good fit for everyone. But if you enjoy variety, challenge, and a chance to always be learning something new while having an impact, it offers all this and more!

Cons

There can be periods where a lot is going on with more than one of the companies you work with, and it might feel a little overwhelming, but the team are there to support you if that is the case! On the flip side, if you've managed to get to a good, stable place with them all and are ready for something new, you need to make that known. Either way, you have to be comfortable asking for help or speaking up!

We are really sorry to hear that you're not pleased with things at Quantico - and we want to do our best to improve. While we do that, we also want to clarify a bit more about 'hiring and firing' at Quantico. All new team members that join Quantico have to go through a probation that lasts 3 months. The result of the probation is decided based on the feedback and ratings that the team members gets from all their colleagues that they work with through a transparent 360 performance review system. Out of the 23 FinOps Associates that were hired so far at Quantico, 3 have not passed probation based on this feedback - this is to say we don't recruit FinOps Associates just to let them go. Moreover, this is something that is being addressed internally and improvements are being made on this front. Based on the feedback we've gotten on the probation process, we are bringing in changes to our recruitment process, clarifying expectations for this role early on in the timeline, and trying to provide support to new team members by having regular check-ins. Our end goal is to ensure that all team members pass probation so we can build a robust and reliable team at Quantico. I hope this information helps. However, if you still have any queries or suggestions - or would just like to chat - please do reach out to the PeopleOps squad. We really do want to make Quantico a good place to work at and are happy to offer support you may require. And the best way for us to improve would be to hear honest feedback from our team members. All the best, Quantico

Pros

- working with loads of really exciting startups - amazing focus on career development - work-life balance is actually really great - half a day of L&D time each week - lunch paid for every day - amazing team of smart, friendly people - great office space (that roof!) but also super flexible - fun, challenging and varied work - no two days are the same!

Cons

- can be busy juggling many different partners at once - learning curve is v steep when you've just joined!
