Pros

Nothing good about the company that I can mention it.

Cons

The managers treat you like slave, unreasonable and will not listen to any opinion or reasons you have. You are expected to work like 16 hours because you still need to read and reply emails even if you are back home. This is even worst working in the Army or Police. It is very stressful to work here and you will not be happy. If you able to check around they are many people resigned from this company. In additional I have seen this company have the same positions in LinkedIn for about 3 years and they still cannot find people to join them. Again, I saw LinkedIn have position today and I feel that I have to give this review and to help people. Do not waste your time here, join other company like DNV, BV, Lloyds, ABS, NKK etc. Even shipyard will be better. They do not pay accordingly to market rate. Allowances will be minimum and number of leave is low too. If you own a car, the company will pay for the parking but they will put it your salary and you have to pay tax on it. In short, they will take all advantages that they can. Do check with friends or people in the same field to verify my review. I speak the truth , the whole and nothing but the truth. Good luck in your job searching.

Pros

*get to work from home with hybrid policy *free water

Cons

*RINA philosophy is that you should feel honored to work for them. *Benefits and resources available to employees in the US are based on Italian/European law so no real benefit to employees *RINA gives you the bare minimum in benefits or other resources, only what is required by law (Maternity leave of one week was considered generous because it was more than is required) *Not given access or resources needed to be successful *You will be fired unexpectedly without receiving feedback on performance *Top managers in many departments are Expats from out the country that do not know laws or how to manage employees *Respect you receive or how you are treated depends on your title *Lots of illegal practices *Discrimination and clear bias on behalf of managers in hiring process. Prefer non blacks and Italian men, men in general.

Pros

Organisation offers access to a variety of interesting projects. Many great people with high levels of technical competency.

Cons

Organisation was acquired by RINA and is lacking in professional and experienced management. Great people are leaving, and overall staff turn over is very high, due to low salaries and poor leadership. Fair, ethical, and transparent growth opportunities do not exist for the majority of staff. Employees are extremely under valued and are not compensated for high levels of effort or overtime. Employees lack any real incentives to stay with the company long term. It is extremely difficult to get any kind of pay rise, despite significant changes to job role/responsibilities. There doesn't seem to be any formal method by which to request or put an argument forward for a pay rise. Basic annual pay rises do not occur. And cost of living increases are barely in line with inflation. Staff generally feel very undervalued. Zero/very few progression opportunities. There are no set salary "bands" and people across all genders and levels of seniority are paid completely at random, and very unfairly. There is great reluctance to bring salaries in line with external UK market values, and very little (to zero) consideration of staff input. Integration following acquisition has been a disaster and there is zero trust between staff and upper management/HR. There is little/no confidentiality and upper management/HR is lacking in professionalism and ethical leadership, that staff expect and require from a place of work. Overall, RINA does not offer a positive or flexible work environment and staff have very few (if any) reasons to stay.
