Very disappointing experience, glad I got out sooner rather than later
Pros
Some work life balance, salary, most people in the support office are friendly, in fact I was able to get along with everyone except the one person who's opinion mattered, my direct boss
Cons
-No proper onboarding into the role itself aside from watching the HR and safety videos -The manager I was reporting to refused to take the time to train me in my new role, or set proper expectations etc, and then threw me under the bus in the first performance check in -The Manager I was reporting to has very outdated views on flexibility and work life balance, he is trying to create a team culture where everyone just works long hours rather than find ways to work smarter. -the position description was not in line with what was actually required in terms of day to day tasks as well as previous experience needed -processes not properly formed or documented
