A company that's lost its heart and soul

Pros

Expedition team expertise. Opportunity to travel, if ever allowed.

Cons

Management is a revolving door. Competition between departments for budget is toxic. Out of touch executives, lack of vision, culture of miscommunication. Much expertise has walked out the door due to disrespect and lack of opportunity. New executive hires in last two years are headed in entirely the wrong direction and are hiring teams that further the wrong goals.

Pros

* opportunity to travel to a very cool destination either Ant or Arc, if you are lucky enough to get the approval to go.

Cons

* revolving mgmt., no appreciation for dedication to co., promote from within, or mold/mentor/guide staff unheard of, mgmt. looking out for themselves & their jobs, not their staff, only communicate the 'happy happy feel good' information, opportunities limited within TUI org as most co. are in Europe

Pros

They give you a good hike while joining. Annual bonus was decent.

Cons

They frequently hire and fire great talent. In my tenure itself I have seen three highly qualified and talented leaders being fired. They just need people who will not make the leadership insecure. The Bangalore finance team has a highly insecure controller who behaves like she owns the India team. She makes up stories about people she wants to target and fills the CFO’s ears. Current CFO has absolutely no idea where the process is headed. She just wants to change everything without understanding the implications of the change. She proposed replacing financial tools and the structure without understanding its impact. The pile of mess will only get complicated for the company.
