Pros

None! Don't think of wasting your time and career here. Worse place to join.

Cons

VP and Director Micro-manage employees like they are little kids, closed minded management -my way is the ONLY way to work mentality. Not open to suggestion and new ideas. Office process are very dated so are the tools. Very rigid with work schedule, forget about working from home you are expected to sit at your desk even when you have no work to do.

Pros

Working for a small company has a lot of benefits. Jim Monopoli (CEO) is always available and just an email away. The company is always trying to grow and looking for new business and business partners. Leadership all the way up the chain is very supportive and involved. Everybody really cares about their people.

Cons

Right now the biggest downside is that Quantech does not have a lot of prime work. They are held to the rates that the other primes offer them. It takes time to capture the work and they are just stuck in the current environment.

Difficult for Reserve Component Military

Pros

Pay is alright, not as good as some but better than others

Cons

Quantech does not support their reserve component military employees well at all. They intentionally make it a cumbersome process to apply for military leave or leave without pay while on military duty. Quantech only allows 10 days of military leave per year. In 13 years of reserve component service, I have never been in a unit that only pulls me out of the office 10 days a year. This forces the service member to either take PTO or leave without pay. For a defense contractor, one would think they would be a little more hospitable to service member employees, guess not though.
