Great for remote work

Pros

My job is remote and in the field, which is why I have stayed with this company. I have enjoyed many of the benefits such as half-day Fridays, good vacation time and the maternity leave is wonderful. I also work best from my home, so remote is certainly what keeps me in this position, I can;t say this part enough. For those looking for remote, flexable work I highly reccomend this company. I enjoy my job even if i don't enjoy the corporate atmosphere.

Cons

Unfortunately, the red tape and inability to simply have one person you can ask questions at any time to is problematic. Supervisors' first priority should be answering questions, they shouldn't even have their own caseload as they should be focused on helping staff handle situations that arise on demand. At one point we literally had a meeting about meetings regularly. Many of our meetings could be covered by email. In addition at one point, our entire department got written up for a problem that could have been prevented by simple weekly auditing, which they still do not do By the time many things are audited things could have already gone wrong for weeks or even months.

Horrible management

Pros

the only thing about it is just the health benefits

Cons

I have been working with this company for over 5 years, the company lost a lot of state contracts due to lack of IT expertise and system defects all the time that they cannot fix , this company lost a lot of revenue recently which make them to split from the parent company PCG , the company started to lay off employees who worked for them for years instead of finding them other positions internally, that causes the other departments to work more hours with less work force , HR is always against the employees , they are not supportive at all when you complain to them due to lack of staff, the Upper management don't give BS about the work load you have, because of the "new vision" of this company the competitors are getting all our state contracts which lead us all not having jobs.

Pros

The only reason to work he is for a salary that is not bad. They pay you well, but they expect a lot back

Cons

There is a lack of effective management across multiple teams. Many managers seem to have limited knowledge of the project details and the overall business goals, which often leads to unrealistic expectations. Employees are frequently asked to work extra hours without additional compensation, which affects morale and work-life balance. Additionally, when delays occur, individual contributors are often held accountable, even when issues stem from broader challenges outside their control. Advancement opportunities, including salary increases and promotions, appear challenging to attain without established connections within the organization. Deadlines are often set without a realistic assessment of the resources needed, and there is minimal management involvement in understanding or streamlining workflows. This has resulted in employees taking on tasks beyond their primary roles, creating additional workload pressures. Improving communication, setting clear expectations, and providing fair recognition could significantly enhance team productivity and job satisfaction. A more structured approach to project management, coupled with active managerial support, would likely yield positive results
