Pros

The people are awesome, the work and shop environment is great. Pay is good, and when you work your way up with time served its easy to make six figures.

Cons

Some of the middle management is clueless and tries to solve problems by micromanaging employees. Travel is the other big one. Some guys like to travel, and some don't. If you do, its no big deal, but if you don't you will hate it. Plan on being gone 70-90 nights away (some guys are ~120). In addition to that, most of it are "Now" trips. Meaning they may come hand you a trip on Friday night and you have to cancel your plans. If you turn it down, the new thing is 5 days off without pay.

Pros

This place over charges customers so much that you always know they have money to pay you. The only real decent thing about this place was the assembly supervisor. He is the only one that cares about his guys.

Cons

WAY underpaid employees, people on the shop floor across the board are under paid. The office is always trying to get one over on the union employees.engineering department is a train wreck, “they will just fix it in the field” is the departments motto. When you go out to the field to fix engineerings mistakes you are always ready to be yelled at by customers because their brand new machines aren’t working right, or because they were lied to by salesmen and the machines are not even close to hitting the production numbers they were promised. HR claims to have an open door policy but when an employee sends an email to hr and some company big wigs about what really happens here he is fired within a week.

Pros

there is plenty of overtime

Cons

No room for advance...all outside hires. No raise or even cost of living in 6 years A lot of mandatory OT...12 hr days and weekends. A lot of blame passes to the floor workers for lack of production. Taking advantage of workers with a “be lucky you have a job” attitude.
