Pros

Fully remote work is available, with hybrid options also provided. Excellent health benefits through Providence.

Cons

The CEO appears disconnected from the team, often sharing personal anecdotes, like travel experiences to India, which seem out of touch with employees facing financial struggles. Leadership lacks vision and strategic direction, and there’s a noticeable absence of accountability at the top. The relationship with Providence, the parent company and client, is poorly understood and inadequately supported internally, affecting overall cohesion. The leadership team is disorganized and frequently brings in consultants whose advice often goes unheeded, resulting in wasted resources. There is a high turnover rate and a lack of accountability from leadership. Leadership tends to favor recruiters, some of whom use outdated methods or lack basic technical skills, such as proficiency in PowerPoint. Non-recruiter employees may feel undervalued and disposable within the organization.

Pros

-fully remote with hybrid options available -good health benefits through Providence -flexible scheduling during core work hours -overall, the company is encouraging when it comes to taking time off

Cons

-highly disorganized. Management is constantly switching who owns what because of high turnover -Providence owns the company and they are a client (conflict of interest) therefore Providence is the employer. If Providence has a hiring freeze, it affects PS&D. All IT requests and contracting go through Providence, etc. This makes processes very slow -high turnover where employee roles aren’t being backfilled. This means work gets piled onto other employees which then causes burnout and people leave, the cycle goes on. -the culture implies that it’s people first, but there is a lack of operational management that helps employees get promoted and develop in their roles.

The entire organization is working together toward their mission and its a wonderful time to be a part of this team.

Cons

I haven't experienced any down sides.
