Pros

They make you feel as if you are helping your community and offering a much needed service. Nice uniforms.

Cons

Equipment is below adequate standard and many vehicles should not be on the road. Driving throughout the city is okay but on the freeway is an incident waiting to occur. The old trucks have no radio and they discourage use of you cell phones. But the new vehicles have working radios and this is a contradiction. The GPS systems are outdated and go out of sync during transports. Lifts shutdown during use causing you to go manual and happens often. Vehicles are distributed on a favorites system so don't expect a reliable vehicle as a new hire. You are required to do a lot of paperwork and customer care for $10.00 an hour. Your overall responsibility is extremely stressful. If you are now a people person this is not for you. Lastly your schedule flexes from day to day.
