While being a big company, Protech is also a family company. I was requested quite often to work on projects not at all related to the core business but to the family's other ventures.
The work load can be daunting sometimes as the head office in Montreal has to assist the great majority of the other plants across Canada and the US with quite a small team. That was even more so the case for my position since I was involved in Purchasing, Demand planning and several other projects.
The financial compensation were not competitive for the amount of work required. The company highlights the abondance of projects available and the many opportunities lying ahead, that never really see fruition, which was ultimately the reason of my departure.
